Suicidality in the context of psychological issues – Integration of suicidal prevention measures in clinic, practice and society

The 41th Autumn Conference of the German Association for Suicide Prevention will take place in Dresden the 6 – 8 September 2013. The event is organised by the working group for suicide research of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University hospital of Dresden and the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Hospital of Dresden Neustadt.

The topic of the conference is “Suicidality in the context of psychological issues – Integration of suicidal prevention measures in clinic, practice and society”. During the event, the topics “Affective disorders and suicidality”, “Social-psychiatric and societal aspects of suicidality” and “Addiction and suicidality” will among others be discussed. Prof. Maike Bellman from the University of Dresden and work package leader for the On-line Library and Assessment of needs of the Euregenas Project, will provide an overview of current activities in the Euregenas Project as well as on the current suicide situation in Europe.
