The IASP World Congress in Oslo

The XXVII World Congress of the IASP will highlighting the latest developments in suicidological research and prevention with innovation being the key word since the enormity of the problem of suicidal behaviour calls for creative initiatives to bring new ideas and new knowledge into practical work in effective approaches to treatment and intervention.

Delegates will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and take part in formal and informal discussions over a wide range of topics. A formal call for papers will be sent out on 30 September 2012 and interested parties are also invited to send ideas and proposals for topics, themes and presenters to the organisers at any time.

What is Euregenas?

The Euregenas project brings together 11 regions with diverse experiences in suicide prevention with the aim to contribute to the prevention of suicidality in Europe through the development and implementation of strategies for suicide prevention at regional level that can be of use to the European Community as examples of good practice.
